Owner/Coach
In 2006, Jason was working out in the typical globo gym doing half rep globo gym movements when he started growing tired of the same routine every week. He began looking for something new to stay fit and joined a mixed martial arts gym which became his new hobby.
The MMA gym happened to have kettlebell classes a couple of days a week for conditioning. He was consistent with his MMA training over the next two years and never missed a kettlebell class. The head instructor of the gym then asked Jason to get the Russian Kettlebell Certification and begin coaching for the MMA gym which Jason quickly did.
Jason coached kettlebells for 2 years. However, he was growing tired of constantly being injured from MMA Training so he decided to give CrossFit a try. Although he thought he was well conditioned from years of kettlebell training, his first CrossFit workout proved him wrong. He was instantly hooked and loved the fact that he could push himself harder than he did while fighting yet was not riddled with injuries all the time.
Jason received his CrossFit L1 on February 2011 and has been coaching ever since. He coaches because it’s what he is passionate about. He loves helping students achieve goals they never thought they could reach. Jason states that his goal “is to make every one of my students stronger, healthier, and better than they were yesterday.”The old saying is true, If you love what you do, you”ll never work a day again in your life.”
